What does home mean to you?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for October 06, 2008:
The older I get ...the more I realize how important my home is...it's not just a place... but a state of being... it's my sanctuary....my retreat ...!
It is where I meditate...where I create ...where I read...where I write...where I share time with family and friends...where I commune with Nature...where I watch the changing of the seasons roll across the mountains, out my living room window...where I curl up under a quilt in the cool of the evening with my dog Sophie and feel the night air on my face, coming in my open window... where I Dream of Endless Possibilities for Peace and Love for All Beings...where I give thanks to God for all the Blessing in my Life.....!!

Help

Dear Diane,
it sounds like where your home is, your heart and spirit are as well, like it is where you belong. And that is a rich and wonderful feeling to have!
But watch out, Precious Friend, one of these days your peace and quiet will be gone for a while, when your Sister Angels come and curl up with you and Sophie under that quilt and there will be laughter and song and smell of chocolate in the air…echoeing over those mountains….
(Hé, we can't help it, it's that law of attraction working overtime, you make it sound sooo good…!!)
Hugs to you
My home is also my sanctuary
interesting tto question: where is home.
it's just a thought after all
much love
Dear Sweet sisters,
How interesting the thought of “home”… and yet it means so many different things to many…
- A place to hang your hat
- A place to return to after a long day at work and kick off your shoes
- A place where family and friends share meals and time together
- A place to rest your head at night…
- A place where one can wrap up in a blanket and let the world of turmoil pass, because you feel safe…..sort of like the womb..wouldn't you say?
Come on over Precious Sister Angels….there is always room for you!!!!
Love Ever Flowing from my Heart ot Yours
I just found your profile and blogs this morning. Was working my way through reading and thought to myself…. Old? Know what your profile says, but your beauty just radiates in your photo as timeless. This was a lovely blog, and touches me as well. For my new home, my first that is only mine, is my sanctuary and my sacred space.
Blessings today,
:)
Di

Home can be a refuge in times of uncertaintity and doubt.
Home is the best place to be when you are not feeling well; our animals around us to comfort us and tell us that tomorrow will always be better-and our significant others.
Dear Sweet Cindy,
Yesyes yes, our home is a refuge…our sanctuary.
Lately I have developed a greater respect for this treasure…and have been spending time honoring this gift by doing a deep cleaning out those things that clutter the flow…
Doing the same things with my personal Being …what a good feeling!!
Love your visits !!
Mountains of Love, Diane
