I'm beginning my new life each day. I'm grateful for all my experiences in life that brought me to this point.


I was raised in Florida with my family (see photo) . I met the love of my life , Terrell, and moved to Alaska, where we were married on the first snow fall of the year.  We lived in Juneau for a few years and then returned to Florida for awhile.  My father bought a home in Virginia and was renovating it , when he fell and required bed rest and help to finish his home.  Terrell and I went to Virginia and helped him finish his home.  By then we had fallen in love with the BlueRidge mountains. We  packed up our belongings in 1978 and moved to Virginia.  We bought a 150year old wormy chestnut  log cabin and fixed it up. Loved it.  It was perfect for us being back in the woods with only the sounds of nature to keep us company.

Terrell and I spent most of our lives together composing and recording relaxation music with our flutes.  Composing and recording flute music was an expression of our love and the source of our income. We loved doing everything together. We were best friends. He was the love of my life, my teacher, my mentor and the inspiration to believe in myself.  He passed away in 2002. He is missed everyday of my life, but I am very blessed to have shared so much with him and I treasure my memories. I know God still has plans for me, so I Listen for His guidence.

I went back to school at age 50 and got my degree as an Occupational Therapist . At least, this is what I do to buy dog bones for Sophie (my dog).

I Love to bask in the Wonders of Nature…and Swirl in the Joys of Life…Create with Endless Possibilities…Serve for the LOve of Giving ! 
I also love to paint from my heart ….write of childhood fantasies….visit with friends and  family, but also honoring  my ”alone time”.!  I love getting up early and strolling outside  in the morning mist with my little dog, Sophie, to await the morning sun. The morning is a special time for me…quiet,…yet full of  sounds awakening to greet the new day!!

I have found the most beautiful friends, here on Gaia…helping me open up to  new experiences…where I feel safe!
